1. The widget is not updating

Symptoms

The device’s power-saving settings may be restricting the app’s background activity.

How to fix it

Please follow the steps below to remove these restrictions.

Xiaomi (2024 and later)

Mainly for devices released in 2024 or later with HyperOS.

  1. Press and hold the app icon of My Clock Widget.
  2. Tap App info from the menu that appears.
  3. Turn Autostart ON.
  4. Set Battery saver to No restrictions.
  5. Return to the home screen and open the Settings app.
  6. Tap AppsPermissionsBackground autostart.
  7. Turn the switch for My Clock Widget ON.
  8. Restart your device.
Xiaomi (2023 and earlier)

Mainly for devices released in 2023 or earlier running MIUI.

  1. Press and hold the app icon of My Clock Widget.
  2. Tap App info from the menu that appears.
  3. Turn Autostart ON.
  4. Set Battery saver to No restrictions.
  5. Restart your device.
OPPO (2024 and later)

Mainly for devices released in 2024 or later running ColorOS 14 or newer.

  1. Press and hold the app icon of My Clock Widget.
  2. Tap App info from the menu that appears.
  3. Tap Battery usage.
  4. Turn Allow background activity ON.
    A confirmation dialog may appear depending on your device model or region. If it does, select “Allow” to proceed.
  5. Return to the home screen and open the Settings app.
  6. Tap BatteryPower saving settings.
    This option may appear as “More battery settings”, or a similar name depending on your device model or region.
  7. Turn Sleep standby optimization OFF.
  8. Tap Optimize battery use.
  9. Tap My Clock Widget and select Don’t optimize.
    If this item appears grayed out while already set to “Don’t optimize”, you can proceed to the next step.
  10. Restart your device.
OPPO (2023 and earlier)

Mainly for devices released in 2023 or earlier running ColorOS 13 or older.

  1. Press and hold the app icon of My Clock Widget.
  2. Tap App info from the menu that appears.
  3. Tap Battery usage.
  4. Turn Allow background activity ON.
    A confirmation dialog may appear depending on your device model or region. If it does, select “Allow” to proceed.
  5. Turn Allow auto launch ON.
    A confirmation dialog may appear depending on your device model or region. If it does, select “Allow” to proceed.
  6. Return to the home screen and open the Settings app.
  7. Tap BatteryMore battery settings.
  8. Turn Sleep standby optimization OFF.
  9. Tap Optimize battery use.
  10. Tap My Clock Widget and select Don’t optimize.
    If this item appears grayed out while already set to “Don’t optimize”, you can proceed to the next step.
  11. Restart your device.
Other devices (Android 15 or later)
  1. Press and hold the app icon of My Clock Widget.
  2. Tap App info from the menu that appears.
  3. Tap App battery usage.
    This option may appear as “Battery” or “Power” depending on your device model or region.
  4. Turn Allow background usage ON, then tap the item itself.
  5. Select Unrestricted from the options shown at the bottom.
  6. Restart your device.
Other devices (Android 14 or earlier)
  1. Press and hold the app icon of My Clock Widget.
  2. Tap App info from the menu that appears.
  3. Tap App battery usage.
    This option may appear as “Battery” or “Power” depending on your device model or region.
  4. Select Unrestricted from the options shown at the bottom.
  5. Restart your device.

2. Cannot add the widget to the home screen

Symptoms

The widget selection menu does not appear.

Main cause

On some devices, certain system modes may restrict the ability to add widgets to the home screen.

How to fix it

On some models, such as FCNT (arrows), widgets cannot be added using the usual method while Simple Mode is enabled.

4. Is this app free to use?

The app is completely free to use.

5. The widget text size changed after updating the OS

Answer

This issue was fixed in version 1.6.7, released on February 19, 2025. After updating to the latest version, please restart your device or re-add the widget to the home screen.

Please note that on some devices or launcher apps, size adjustments may not be applied correctly.

6. When will the “Font Style” feature be available?

Answer

Because our request to Google was not approved, there is currently no timeline for implementing this feature as of April 11, 2025. We sincerely apologize that we have not been able to meet the expectations of users who have been waiting for this feature. We are continuing to review the feature and explore possible alternatives.
